Business Problem:

A lot of customers who are using ACS with their OpenShift environments are looking to use the same security features as they extend to the edge with MicroShift.

Use Cases:

Primary use case is admission control. 

Secondary use case is collector. 

We would expect sensor to be able to connect back to Central.

We do not expect scanner to run on MicroShift. 

We do not expect the Compliance Operator to run on MicroShift. 

Key Functionality:

Implement deploy and runtime ACS policies on MicroShift.

Benefits:

Expand the addressable market for ACS. Increase customer confidence in MicroShift. 

Acceptance criteria:

Validate that deploy time policies are applied successfully on MicroShift. 

Validate that runtime policies are applied successfully on MicroShift.
