Business Problem:
In Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes architecture overview there is a useful picture showing the architecture of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security including communication requirements. Yet, no protocol, port or other information are available, helping to understand the overall communication requirements.
Given that in Enterprise, networking requirements are expected to be documented, it was requested to update the Architecture drawing and overview to include protocol, port and potentially TLS version in use for communication (so basically include and document the networking requirements).
Use Cases:
Enterprise need to know and document network requirements and network path and thus rely on the vendor to provide the same for their products shipped.
Key Functionality:
Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes architecture overview should be updated to include network requirements in documented manner. In addition, the drawing should also be updated to highlight the protocol and port used for the different communication path.
Benefits:
Understanding of networking requirements and thus being able to address potential questions and concerns corporate internally and apply required policy to make Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security work as expected.
Acceptance criteria:
The Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes architecture overview should be enhanced with networking requirements, including documentation of networking path and the drawing should reflect that accordingly.
