      CUSTOMER PROBLEM

When I work through the list of violations, I sometimes want to snooze a few for some period of time. For example, I know that a specific deployment is being worked on to exclude, say, a secret from env var. Or all deployments in a namespace are unmaintained and will be retired soon.

Note that we already have similar snoozing functionality for CVEs.

      ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

A particular violation (i.e. policy) can be snoozed based on the following parameters:

      • deployment name
      • deployment id
      • namespace
      • cluster

      CONSIDERATIONS

Do we consider even more parameters for snoozing? For example, snooze for a specific container or image, maybe even snooze for label, service account?
