Description of problem:
What are you experiencing? What are you expecting to happen?
One of our customer is a service provider and they are using OCP Virt to offer virtual machines to their customers and it's working now.
The customer would like to offer openshift clusters to their customers as well and to do that They are planning to use HCP.
The problem is that every hosted clusters created is a subdomain of the managed cluster domain.
The customer is looking for any way to create hosted clusters with custom URL to access it so this customer will have different hosted clusters to different customers.
See below customer request:
We are testing the Hosted control plane in our cluster and we would like to customize the domain of the hosted cluster. For example, our main cluster has the domain ocp.tivit.internal and we would like to use a different domain, for example, ocp.example.com
for a customer, ocp.myclient.com to another customer and so on.
But we couldn't find an option or documentation to customize the domain for the Hosted cluster. So, we would like to know, is it possible to create a hosted cluster using a custom domain?
The infrastructure is Baremetal
