      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Add virtual MAC (VMAC) support for MetalLB in Layer2 mode

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

MetalLB should support VMACs in Layer2 mode, similar to what "keepaliveD" has implemented. This would avoid new ARP learnings of network clients / switch fabric which is leading to extended downtime and failover times due to ARP spoofing protection on the network infrastructure.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

In a customer environment with MAC spoofing protection active and the need to use Layer2 mode (BGP not allowed), this will be needed to have a reliable and sufficient Loadbalancer solution running on-Cluster and not externally.

      4. List any affected packages or components.

      MetalLB
