      1. Proposed title of this feature request
--> Add Supportability Disclaimer for Independent/Standalone Deployments in CoreOS Login Banner

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

      Nature of the Request:
The request is to modify the /lib/systemd/system-generators/coreos-liveiso-autologin-generator script to include a disclaimer about the supportability of independent/standalone deployments of Red Hat CoreOS. This script generates the /etc/motd (Message of the Day) login banner when Red Hat CoreOS boots from an ISO.

      Description of the Request:
The disclaimer should clearly inform users that independent/standalone deployments of Red Hat CoreOS 4.x are not supported by Red Hat. Additionally, it should advise against any extra customization beyond the original deployment of Red Hat CoreOS, as it has been specifically tuned for containerization and is only supported as part of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.x deployment. This change aims to reduce the number of support cases raised by customers attempting unsupported deployments.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

      Reduce Support Cases:
By clearly communicating the unsupported nature of independent/standalone Red Hat CoreOS deployments, customers will be less likely to attempt such installations and subsequently raise support cases. This will help in reducing the workload on the Red Hat support team and allow them to focus on supported configurations.

      Improve Customer Experience:
Providing this disclaimer directly in the login banner will immediately inform users of the support limitations, reducing confusion and ensuring they are aware of the appropriate usage of Red Hat CoreOS. This helps set the right expectations and prevents potential frustration from discovering the supportability issue only after encountering problems.

      Compliance and Documentation:
Including the support disclaimer directly in the system's generated messages aligns with best practices for compliance and thorough documentation. It provides an easily accessible reference point for users regarding the limitations of their deployment, ensuring they are operating within supported parameters.

By implementing this feature, Red Hat can proactively manage customer expectations, reduce unnecessary support efforts, and ensure that Red Hat CoreOS is used in its intended and supported context.
