Nature and Description of the Request: The request entails enhancing the Machine Config Operator (MCO) behavior within OpenShift to automatically revert unmanaged files, such as the sshd_config file, back to their default content when they are no longer managed by MCO. Currently, MCO does not handle the scenario where a file was once managed but is later removed from the Machine Config Pool (MCP). This enhancement would improve the manageability and consistency of node configurations within OpenShift clusters.
