Prometheus remote-write deduplication
2. What is the nature and description of the request?

It would be great to have the option to avoid sending the Prometheus metrics deduplicated when remote-write is set, by having an active/standby setup or deduplicating in a middle step.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

With remote write, the Prometheus metrics are received twice in the external system, which shows all the metrics duplicated
