      1. Proposed title of this feature request

If an image is not present in the Internal Registry, pull it from the External Registry

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

If a customer is using an image that is stored in the OCP Internal Registry, and the image is deleted, the next time the image is needed it should be pulled again from the external registry, where it is originally stored.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

The customers use the OCP Internal registry for reliability and cost saving:

      • Pulling images from The registry which has storage in the cloud implies a cost. Pulling it locally saves money-
      • Adds another reliability layer. If for some reason Quay becomes unavailable, all the images stored locally can be pulled.

      4. List any affected packages or components.
