      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Support integration of cert-manager operator with Google Certificate Authority Service (CAS)

      1. What is the nature and description of the request?

DB chose Google CAS as their cloud certificate management platform. With the OCP on GCP implementation, the only integration solution is to use cert-manager with Google CAS issuer.

      1. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

The customer has a requirement from their security team CSO of using Google CAS as the standard default certificate issuer. Google CAS is not supported by Red Hat, but the team uses cert-manager operator for their cert management in OCP on GCP, and need to use Google CAS as an issuer in integration with cert-manager. This integration is not currently supported.
