      1. Proposed title of this feature request
      Expose O-RAN compliant REST API for PTP Events directly from the Red Hat OpenShift Product

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?
      In order to currently utilize the PTP Event Framework, the event consumer application must embed the Red Hat cloud-event-proxy as described in the Red Hat documentation.
      This RFE is to instead expose an O-RAN compliant REST API for PTP Events directly from the OpenShift Platform, without the requirement that the event consumer application would have to embed the Red Hat cloud-event-proxy proxy.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
      The requirement to embed the Red Hat cloud-event-proxy creates a coupling between the platform (Red Hat OpenShift) and the workload (the event consumer) which is problematic;
      Whenever the Platform is updated, the internal interface between the platform and the Red Hat cloud-event-proxy might change which then forces the workload provider to rebuild their application in order to update the cloud-event-proxy embedded in the application to a version compatible with the updated platform.
