1. Proposed title of this feature request
Support thick provisioning with LVM Storage
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
- Support thick provisioning with LVM Storage in order to guarantee and pre-allocate the requested capacity by the PVCs.
- OR, If not feasible, as `overprovisionRatio` parameter can only be 2 or more https://github.com/openshift/lvm-operator/blob/main/config/crd/bases/lvm.topolvm.io_lvmclusters.yaml#L194-L199, at least allow customizable `overprovisionRatio` or have a more conservative ratio (e.g. 5-10%).
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
- At air-gapped and self-contained edge systems, with lack of proper observability capabilities, customers may need to have guaranteed the allocated space of PVCs.
- This may limit snapshot capabilities, but eventually a trade-off that customers running at the edge are open to assume.
4. List any affected packages or components.
