1. Proposed title of this feature request
Add timeouts and alerts to installer destroy process.
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
The original design of the destroy process for the installer was to run forever (or until all resources are destroyed). Customers have asked about altering this to only run for x amount of time. This doesn't solve the problem of leaked resources though. The proposal is to include a timeout (which could or not be altered via the openshift-install destroy process), and all resources associated with the cluster that could not be destroyed should be provided to the user. This will allow the install to fail after x amount of time as well as show what resources are still present.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
- Provide an easier method of knowing what resources could not be deleted.
- Provide a timeout to stop the process after x minutes similar to other processes of the openshift-installer
4. List any affected packages or components.
openshift-installer. All installation platforms must be covered.
