      Method to check s3 storage works to verify the settings needed for the loki storage_config

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

      A method and/or command to check the s3 target to ensure its parameters will work when building the storage_config file.

      There are many s3 solutions out there, some that simulate aws. QNAP. for example, uses QuObjects to create an s3 compatible object service. This service has the following parameters:

      Customers may have on-prem s3 solutions versus using one of the ones provided by an external cloud provider, aws.
