Scale applications based on a metric provided by an API
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
The Metrics API scaler allows you to scale an application based on metrics exposed from an API. This allows an app to expose a custom metric and scale on it without having to integrate into another solution like Prometheus.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
They would like to be able to scale their application from custom metric sources outside Prometheus.
