1. Proposed title of this feature request
Allow custom cluster-wide host entries to be added to /etc/hosts via the DNS operator
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
Customer wants to be able to add custom host entries to /etc/hosts that are cluster wide. Rather then only being able to do so on a deployment/pod level
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
Currently there is no supported way to add new entries to /etc/hosts that are cluster wide and Customer doesn't want to set up an external DNS server in order to achieve what they're looking for.
4. List any affected packages or components.
