      1. Proposed title of this feature request

Citigroup is looking for a tool that validates OpenShift objects based on the OpenAPI schema or JSON schema

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

Citigroup has 800 different clusters with hundred different configurations. Developers and Operations team don't have cluster access directly. We are looking for a way to validate objects for validity without having direct cluster access.

We explored tools such as Kubeval and Kubeconform but both require a JSON schema which we currently don't provide.

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

The customer wants to automate the developer onboarding flow through a dev portal. This will increase the velocity for developers and help onboard applications to OCP at a much faster pace.

      4. List any affected packages or components.

Not clear yet. Potentially the Core OpenShift API server should provide this.
