Hive managed customizations for Machine Configuration Operator to configure High PID and THP Support

    Description

      1. Allow more machine set customization on ARO, ROSA and OSD Managed Services and Expose further machine customization through node feature discovery operator as well as the taints/toleration capabilities.
      2. Allow finer grained node customization without requiring support exceptions to support customer workloads.
      3. Customer Request - As a black belt I have come across several customers needing higher PID space per process (much larger than our newer 4096 limit) as well as customers inquiring about features such as enable/disable Transparent Huge Pages for workloads. PID space being the highest demand. Allow these to be safely set on machine set level and offer the capability for workloads to target these capabilities.

      Competitive Comparison

      Tanzu allows such configuration and is doing so to satisfy large Telco customers that need low latency, low jitter, THP or high PID process spaces amongst other workload types.
