The goal of this RFE is to find a supported way for disabling unneeded operators / minimizing the set of required operators / giving cluster administrators supported tools for selectively disabling specific operators which they do not deem as essential.

The customer is looking for a way to reduce the cluster operators to a minimum.

For instance, they would like to remove "openshift-monitoring" because they are deploying prometheus operator manually or remove the "cluster-autoscaler" because they are not interested in autoscaling.

They are also mentioning others potentially unneeded operators like barematal, cloud-credential and marketplace.
