1. Proposed title of this feature request
Manila support via NFS on OCP4.X
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
Based on the docs of OCP4.6, Manila is already supported without exclusions. Though we have a CSA engagement for the initial OCP4 deployments within Proximus.
There we got the message Manila is supported but NOT with NFS.
So this request is to add the support to OCP4 as well so we can use the OpenStack provided Manila api.
Manila on OSP was setup via the following guide: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html/cephfs_via_nfs_back_end_guide_for_the_shared_file_system_service/index
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
without support of Manila we need to fallback to an OCS internal deployment which will eat resources (cpu, ram and storage) that can be used better on OCP and the performance will be WAY lower because of the stacking of ceph clusters.
4. List any affected packages or components.
