Proposed title of this feature request
→ Openshift4 Restricted Network Cluster GUI options for upgrades
What is the nature and description of the request?
→ In the situation where there is no web proxy, but there is a mirror registry such as Nexus, the method of minor updates for Openshift is all command line driven and requires various steps such as creating image signature config maps etc.
Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
→ Stability, ease of use and not relying on scripts for updates
List any affected packages or components.
→ NA
How would you like to achieve this? (List the functional requirements here)
→ Under Administration > cluster settings if we could set required environment variables to be able to specify the mirror registry, Openshift version to update or similar. Would expect a different menu for restricted installs Or by creating an ImageContentSourcePolicy or similar for cluster updates.
For each functional requirement listed in question 4, specify how Red Hat and the customer can test to confirm the requirement is successfully implemented
→ Correct images are pulled after choosing mirror registry and version to update - updates are pulled and ready to install like a connected environment
