The diagram that we include in the 2.7.6 Release notes section 3.1 currently has a few issues:

      • being cut-and-pasted from a Google spreadsheet, it seems blurry and quite noticeably of lower quality than the rest of the images in our docs,
      • the horizontal axis on the Gantt chart is unlabeled, so it is not possible to tell just by looking at the chart how long the support periods are supposed to be, (rhn-sa-tqvarnst is the support interval length information intentionally omitted, let's, say, for legal reasons?)
      • there is a random blue band at the bottom of the chart that does not seem to serve any purpose or denote any useful information w/r/t the contents of the diagram (Again, is this intentional?),
      • there appears to be a visual artifact (faint vertical line) next to the lower right-hand corner of the diagram image. Not sure if this is a result of improper cropping on the image or some kind of rendering issues caused by PV2.

I understand that the changes that we made to the RHBQ support cycle are fairly recent and might not be finalized or thoroughly communicated yet.
However, if we want the diagram to be useful we should consider redesigning or updating it to be clearer and provide a bit more information.

IMHO, as far as priority goes, this in not something that we have to publish by 2.7.6. GA (after all, applying and verifying changes to the diagram might take some time) , but we should really make some improvements diagram by the next product release.

On the CCS side we have designers who specialize in diagram design for product docs who can help with the redesign work. I can invite them to chat about this sometime after our upcoming release. rhn-sa-tqvarnst WDYT?
