User Story: As a developer, when I want to learn about what's new and applicable for the current supported release, I go to the release notes. I'd like to get a concise summary of why I should install/use/upgrade/migrate to this release from the opening summary. I do not want to have to scroll down through a long description of the product in the release notes, which is also repeated in the Getting Started guide. A concise description is sufficient in the release notes along with a summary of the key highlights.
Solution: During the release notes restructuring and planning discussion, we agreed that the opening chapter for the release notes should be content that summarizes the main headlines of the release, for example 'About this release' or 'About Red Hat build of Quarkus'. The existing product description can be condensed as it already exists word for word in the Getting started guide.
Add a link to the product information chapter of the Getting Started Guide.
Future Goal: When we move to Jupiter, we will have a Library page for the product description and features information about the product, which the release notes and other guides can link to.
