      1. Create gradle project:

      mvn com.redhat.quarkus.platform:quarkus-maven-plugin:3.2.0.Final-redhat-00002:create -DprojectGroupId=my-groupId -DprojectArtifactId=my-artifactId -DprojectVersion=my-version -DclassName="org.my.group.MyResource" -Dextensions="resteasy,resteasy-jackson" -DbuildTool=gradle -Dmaven.repo.local=/home/mjurc/Downloads/rh-quarkus-platform-3.2.0.GA-maven-repository/maven-repository -DquarkusRegistryClient=false

      2. Run:

      ./gradlew --console=plain quarkusDev -Dmaven.repo.local=/home/mjurc/Downloads/rh-quarkus-platform-3.2.0.GA-maven-repository/maven-repository

      3. Check: ~/.gradle/caches/modules-2/files-2.1/* if it contains org.apache.maven:maven:3.6.3*

      related to QUARKUS-994 but specifically about that gradle seem to require maven core 3.6.x which causes issues for users that have proxy that prevent access to 3.6.x
