It has not yet been determined whether IBQ should use the IBM OpenJDK build or continue with the default Red Hat OpenJDK distribution. For upcoming IBQ releases, we should evaluate both options, PM and Engineering should make a decision (see QUARKUS-6810). After the decision has been made, this task is to document the the recommended JDK.
