As of the writing of this card, the current Operator SDK version is newer than the version currently used by the NFD Operator. However, given that the Operator SDK version is rapidly approaching v2.0.0, it may be ideal to wait for that version to release before upgrading the Operator SDK version.

The goal of this card is to investigate how long it would take to upgrade the Operator SDK version and what steps would be required to accomplish this task.
