The current upstream website for Quay (www.projectquay.io) is woefully out of date and in need of modernizing. It was built on the original OKD website framework which was replaced years ago. The code assets are at https://github.com/openshift-cs/projectquay.io. 

Our team does not have the ability to maintain the website so we should look to redo the site from scratch using a static site generator and host it somewhere our team can maintain it.

For reference, the Clair project has a fairly recent upstream website at https://clairproject.org/ that is hosted on GitHub Pages (https://github.com/quay/clairproject.org). We should do something similar for Quay.

Once the site is finished- we can redirect the DNS entry by raising a ticket in the OHSS project- they will make care of making the necessary changes.
