Perform a canary deployment of the new Quay clusters. Shift a portion of the traffic and monitor for issues. Discuss with the Quay team about how long the canary process should be.
One other consideration should be database impacts and whether Quay's DB can handle the potential increased load. However a few weeks ago we basically doubled Quay's deployment size and it handled just fine.
