We need to verify we have monitors and alerts in place for 502s and RDS Proxy. If we do not, they need to be created. Please work with AppSRE to identify which metrics to use and what the alerting threshold should be. Please also discuss at what threshold they want to be paged or if pages should solely be derived from SLO. Keep in mind that for our most recent incident, our SLOs looked good while our 500s were most likely in breach.
