Major In incident ITN-2025-00005 we encountered intermittent failures to pull images from quay. After diagnosis, the CDN for quay in the Singapore region was switched to Cloudfront from cloudfare.
This card aims at improving the observability of such failure by introducing a less frequent pull/push monitor of a large image.
Extending the pull/push time (with a larger image) will make the monitor more susceptible to intermittent failure and in conjunction with existing tests provide a more complete picture of the overall health of the quay service.
