Clair memory consumption is growing

Hi,

 My customer has issues with Clair on Quay 3.5. It is consuming a massive amount of memory, the comment from them:

"One container is eating a whole vm, which has 16gb of ram.
It's the only service running on a host. It unbelievable that clair is eating so much memory."

Do we have any workarounds or fixes for this issue?
