Kogito-apps and kogito-examples depend on a snapshot version of the OptaPlanner. To make sure no change will break these projects, introduce a PR check downstream build that builds and tests these projects with the OptaPlanner.

Preferably, build & test only modules that use OptaPlanner to avoid unnecessarily prolonging the build time.
