Both ACM and OCM include (or will soon include) UIs for managing a cluster's MachinePools - creation, auto/scaling, editing labels/taints, etc. These experiences should be as similar as possible to make alignment in the future Hybrid Console easier.

Goal

Identify any current MachinePool UX differences between ACM/OCM and adjust any forward-looking designs to bring them closer together.

Start conversations about the viability of UI code-sharing between the two.

Steps

• Compare ACM/OCM MachinePool implementations and designs (cluster creation wizards, lists, edit actions, modals, details pages), probably in Miro
• Identify differences between them
• Align on shared designs
• Share design updates with ACM/OCM stakeholders
