"Seem's I've found a Bug where refreshing the Histogram doesn't work even though logs are refreshed correctly. Pushing the Hide Histogram and pushing than Show Histogram refreshes is as expected ...Happens if I leave the query on the screen for some time and afterwards hit the Run Query button ...
yeah seems that the chart get's stuck on the original timespan ... changing the query also has no affect on visibility of Histogram..."
"just if someone is interested ... using * RH Build of OpenTelemetry
- RH OpenShift-Logging 6.2
- RH Cluster Observability Operator
makes log aggregation that easy into the OCP UI
(east freaked because it was just added and queuing pushes the limits of course)"
Estimate
- [ <1 pt] Refresh on setting up logging-view-plugin and querying logs
- [ <1 pt] Fix useEffect dependencies (see if that resolves the issue)
- [ 2 pt] Clicking 'Run Query' should also update the histogram if 'Show Histogram' is true
- [ <1 pt] Smoke testing by scenario 1) Clicking the Refresh button should refresh Logs and Histogram scenario 2) Clicking 'Run Query' reloads the logs and Histogram
