We have added a new API to OCP [1] (as technology-preview). This was required for epic OTA-917 i.e. `Teach the cluster-version operator to consume additional signature stores` .

We had planned to GA this feature in OCP 4.15. However API team convinced us that it would be easier for them to accept the API change if it is under feature gate. This is also caused by the lack of time we had to merge the API change before 4.15 feature freeze.

However we are confident of the changes we did and we want to make it generally available in OCP 4.15.

Once all required code (e.g. OCPBUGS-24700) is merged and QE is done with testing the feature we need to send a PR to openshift/api to make the APIs generally available.
