Currently, Istio defaults to using the iptables backend for traffic steering purposes. To utilize the nftables backend, users must manually enable the global.nativeNftables feature flag during installation.

      Acceptance Criteria:
Currently, the OSSM operator can reliably detect if it's running on an OpenShift cluster. This logic can be further enhanced to detect if it's running on RHEL10 and automatically enable the nftables flag.
