Note: This will only be relevant when new version 2.Y released

To use the latest released version in LPINTEROP pipelines, we need to update versions where it is applicable (e.g. when the SMCP version changed after the GA or Kiali version changed).

For Kiali:

• If the Kiali Y version is not changed, make sure that the Kiali test images under the (X.Y) version contain the latest changes. If not, ask someone from the Kiali team to trigger this github action job
• If the Kiali Y version was changed, you need to update the images in the config, see this example: https://github.com/openshift/release/pull/50251. Also, change the Kiali test version in the ci config as in this example: https://github.com/openshift/release/pull/50225

For Maistra test tool:

• If the Y version was changed, update the SMCP version in all configs to use the latest SMCP version, see this example: https://github.com/openshift/release/pull/50225. No changes are needed for the test suite (the main branch is used)
• For new Y SMCP version, probably also Gateway API was changed so extend this code about a new version (as in our jenkins pipeline), see this example: https://github.com/openshift/release/pull/50225
