Now that OSSM 3 supports revision based (aka canary) upgrades of control planes and Kiali provides feedback on ongoing canary updates (as of 1.89), in our upgrade docs, we should include instructions for users to open Kiali and validate that:

      • The expected 2 control planes exist (After step 2 - as another check beyond hte CLI) - I believe this is from the mesh page.
      • How to verify which control plane (revision) a given workload (or namespace) belongs to using Kiali.
      • How to confirm that the upgrade has been completed, and that the old revision can be removed (or has been removed if done automatically).

      Why is this important?

While the CLI commands can help to validate revisions and labels, Kiali provides additional information about the traffic a workload is experiencing that may be important in the consideration of when to move a workload from one control plane to the next.
