The Data & Operations team announces that the next CSB release of
Jenkins 2.452.4 and its update center is now available on PSI OpenShift.
There is an upgrade deadline specified by Product Security[4] to 2024-09-06.

To get your Jenkins instance upgraded, follow the upgrade guide[1] and
the self-service upgrade procedure[2]. If you encounter problems
upgrading, raise a ticket for Data & Operations[3].

1. Most notable changes in Jenkins CSB 2.452.4:

• Jenkins controller is using UBI9 and Java 17
• Jenkins JNLP agent is based on Fedora 40
• Python is no longer installed in the Controller container
• Fail fast on Jenkins boot failure (such as casc.yaml error)
     - The controller pod will now terminate immediately, instead of
  waiting for probe timeout as it used to
• Patching deadlines changing from 90/30 days, to 30/14 days
