Based on discussion during the 9/18/23 Program Call meeting it sounds like when 2.5 goes live that maintenance support for 2.2 gets dropped and 2.2 should be EOL'd.

No formal decision as this time. Creating this task as a reminder for doc.

Most likely, we just need a line item in the release notes, and marketing will have to update the Life Cycle Policy page.
