      If this is the first time we get a working set of images (e.g. z-stream), we also need to do a sanity check.

      DoDs:

      • Verify that the SHA of each “related_images” for each build attached to metadata Errata corresponds either to the builds attached to containers Errata or had been already released.
        You can use that script: check_builds_metadata.py
      • Verify that the metadata bundle contains the latest related images ( latest brew builds), can be checked by the latest-related-images job (with USE_METADATA_BUILD_TIME_AS_NOW=false since we want to check that images are latest now]
      • Verify that all containers in the metadata bundle use the correct OSSM version and have the same commit hash as the latest commit in the release branch. Can be checked by these jobs: for OSSM2 , for OSSM3
      • Verify installations are completed
      • Sanity check the UI making sure Kiali is showing the correct version for OSSM
      • Install the latest SMCP. Look into Grafana UI and Verify that Istio dashboards show some data and the layout is correct (it doesn't overlap one over the other etc.). Reproducer for OSSM-6163
        • For 2.5.1, there is a known issue for 2 dashboards (OSSM-6267) ( please, remove this line once it is fixed )
