odh-gateway should be tied to the odh-domain (opendatahub.$DOMAIN instead of * as we have right now), mainly because:

• it gives a clear understanding of which hosts are allowed to access our services 
• reduces the chance of misconfigurations which can lead to side-effects as a broadly defined gateway can interfere with other gateways specific for certain services in the mesh
