We might have a scenario in which the customer who has current service 1.0 installation might have different strategies for upgrade operators.

eg: The customer chooses to update the Kiali operator manually and Service Mesh Automatically. In this hypothetical scenario, the versions of operators will not match and we might have potential installation issues.

Another hypothetical situation: manual approval of one operator (kiali, service mesh, jaeger) and not the other ones.

Also, rcernich1 commented: "This is why the older version of Maistra should (generally speaking) work with newer versions of Jaeger and Kiali, at least up to the point where they stop supporting features/behavior required by the older Maistra version. That said, if the newer versions of those operators are not backward compatible (i.e. they don't support Maistra 1.0), then everything needs to be upgraded together"
