In OSSM 2.0, users had to modify the CSV to mount a ConfigMap into the operator pod when they wanted to add their own smcp templates. In 2.1, this is no longer necessary, as the operator ships with an optional ConfigMap volume mount. So, from 2.1 onwards, the user only needs to create the smcp-templates ConfigMap. They do not need to edit the CSV.
