Jaeger 2.0 is moving to base its components (agent, collector and ingester) on the OpenTelemetry Collector. Although care has been taken to remain as backward compatible as possible, there are some situations where this has not been possible.

For these situations the docs should be updated to make it clear where options are only supported in 1.x.

There will also be additional options that will need to be added, and marked as only supported with 2.0+.

The changes will be identified as part of TRACING-1581.
