      When validationMessages are enabled in the SMCP, istiod logs the following errors:

      error   kube    failed to create informer for core/v1alpha1/MeshConfig: no informer found for /v1alpha1, Resource=meshconfigs
error   kube    failed to create informer for core/v1alpha1/MeshNetworks: no informer found for /v1alpha1, Resource=meshnetworks
error   kube    failed to create informer for extensions/v1beta1/Ingress: no informer found for extensions/v1beta1, Resource=ingresses

      Istiod runs fine, but analysis of these resources is probably not performed.
