      Creating the Jenkins pipeline for Upgrading Operators.

      Here, I'm attaching the shell script of the upgrade operators:

      upgrade.sh

       

      {+}Steps:

      1. Create the OCP cluster

      2. Deploy the Production operators i..e (Jaeger, Kiali and Service Mesh operators)

      3. Create the 3 namespaces i..e (istio-systemv23, istio-systemv22 and istio-systemv21)

      4. Deploy the v2.3, v2.2 and v2.1 CP

      5. Deploy the bookinfo23 into istio-systemv23, bookinfo22 into istio-systemv22 and bookinfo21 into istio-systemv21  then it will create the SMMR successfully

      6. Deploy the ICSP.yaml

      7. Deploy the Stage Catalog YAML file

      8. Deploy the Kiali and Service Mesh operators from the Stage Catalog

      9. Verify the SMCP and Pods in all the Namespaces.

      10. Need the XML output to upload the results into Polarion.
