We're currently offering the ability to set custom hostnames for addon installations, but the functionality is not actually implemented.

We should find a solution that helps most of our customers, without getting too deep into custom Route creation (there's always another option you could add). The goal of this task is to investigate options and come up with a proposal.
Possible options:
- Deprecate (and later remove) the field
- Implement the hosts functionality, but not more

- What are customers likely to want/expect?
- How many customers are requesting this?
- What options can be provide?
