Similar to tracing integration using extensionProviders, Red Hat OpenShift ServiceMesh can be integrated with OpenShift logging using the extensions envoyOtelAls.

To ensure the access logs are added to the OpenShift logging browser, an additional Operator is mandatory to convert envoy access logs to standardized OpenShift logs.
