While testing the Kiali toolset, we noticed an inconsistency in how certificate authorities (CAs) are provided across Red Hat–maintained components. The ACM cluster provider allows users to specify a CA via a file path, while the Kiali toolset requires CAs to be provided as inline values.

This inconsistency can lead to confusion for users and complicate documentation and support.
We should standardize the CA configuration method across RH-maintained toolsets and cluster providers.

      Requested Action

      • Update the Kiali mCP to align with the filepath.
      • Document the standardized pattern for future RH toolsets.
